Job Title: Warehouse Worker

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing an array of duties such as receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, organising and retrieving stock in the warehouse.

We are a New Zealand based company, from our operation in Nottingham we sell and distribute our products throughout the UK, Europe and the Rest of the World.

Responsibilities:

• Adherence to Health and Safety within the warehouse
• Quarterly stock check and weekly perpetual stock check procedure
• Accurate location of stock reporting within the warehouse
• Counting and checking of Inbound stock within 24 hours (one working day)
• Turnaround of orders (B2B and B2C) within 24hours (1 working day)
• Adherence to booking, pick, pack and despatch procedures
• Compliance to shipping and customs requirements
• Re-work and packing of stock
• Reporting any damages, discrepancies or any potential hazards within the warehouse or on site
• Booking courier shipping
• Receive and unload deliveries of stock
• Keep a clean and safe working environment

Requirements:

• Previous warehouse experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds / 22Kg) and work on your feet for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good organisational skills.
• IT literate
• Basic maths and literacy
• Forklift (Reach Truck) certification preferred but not required
• Driving License preferred but not required
