Job description

My client near Radstock, Somerset is seeking an experienced Warranty Administrator to join their team. As a Warranty Administrator, near Radstock you will be responsible for ensuring our warranty claims are processed efficiently and accurately, providing excellent service to our customers.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to progress to a Service Advisor position after 12 months and will receive cross-training in the service department to provide cover as needed.
Duties:
* Handle and process warranty claims in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and company policies.
* Ensure all necessary documentation and evidence are collected and submitted.
* Maintain accurate records of all warranty transactions and submissions.
* Act as the primary contact for warranty-related inquiries from customers and internal staff.
* Provide timely updates to customers on the status of their claims.
* Address and resolve any warranty issues or disputes in a professional manner.
* Work closely with the service department to verify claim eligibility and gather required information.
* Communicate effectively with technicians to ensure accurate and complete documentation of repairs.
* Prepare and submit regular reports on warranty activities, including claim status and resolution times.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of manufacturer warranty policies and procedures.
* Handle warranty-related administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and correspondence.
* Assist with other administrative duties as required by the service department.
* Receive cross-training in the service department to cover service advisor duties as needed.
* Gain a thorough understanding of service department operations and processes.
Experience:
* At least 12 months of experience in a warranty administration role is required.
* Experience in the automotive industry is a plus.
* Hold a full UK Vaild Driving licence
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Proficiency in using computer systems and software for data entry and reporting (Kerridge & Sentry)
