We are looking for experienced class 2 HGV Driver/Loaders to join our busy Waste Collection team. You will have a full, clean class 2 driving licence, up to date CPC qualification and tachograph card. You will be able to work in all weathers and as part of a tight knit crew, providing exceptional customer service levels.
Key Elements of the role are:
- Driving Waste Collection vehicles up to 26 tonnes.
- Loading of residual waste bins in all weathers.
- Competent in the use of tachograph cards with a good understanding of the highway code and driver law.
- Good working knowledge of Redditch and Bromsgrove areas.
- Able to demonstrate excellent customer service skills and show what 'good performance' looks like.
- Able to work as part of a tight knit 3 person crew and with the wider team across all departments.
- Flexible approach to the role and achieving key objectives on a daily basis.
Key Essential skills required:
- Class 2 HGV driving licence.
- Up to date DQC card.
- Tachograph card with knowledge and experience of how to use.
- Experience of working within waste management or similar environment.
- Flexible approach to working hours.
- Able to work outdoors in all weathers.
- Have a good understanding of health and safety practices, how these apply to the work place and individual responsibilities.
- Able to work to and understand detailed instructions, working with data and other applications.
- Able to deliver consistent, excellent levels of customer service.
