SalaryCarry out the duties of an LGV driver to collect, transfer, and dispose of recyclable and residual waste as presented by the property owners of Aberdeenshire in accordance with Council policies and procedures.
There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation.
Applicants must have a valid Category C driving licence, Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) and hold a digital drivers tachograph card.
Previous experience of refuse / recycling collection is preferred.
This post has a minimum requirement of one reference which must be your current or most recent employer.
This post is required to work a 9.25 hr compressed day - either Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday.
There is a requirement to work public holidays or an alternative designated day in line with service requirements.
Applicants must have a valid CPC, hold a digital driver’s tachograph card and be able to drive a 26 tonne Refuse Collection vehicle.
Previous experience of refuse / recycling collection is preferred.
Fixed Term for a period not exceeding 31/08/2024.
