Waste King Recycling is a nationwide recycling business serving domestic and commercial customers across the whole UK from our base in Tring. We run a waste transfer site that processes waste into its constituent parts for recycling.
We also run a nationwide brokerage service to fulfil client needs anywhere in the UK through our extensive partner supplier network that we manage via our bespoke IT systems.

The role
You will be based at our office in Wingrave taking enquires and customer service calls from domestic and corporate customers. You will advise them about solutions to their waste disposal needs and sell them the best fit service. You will be building relationships and developing enquiries into long term account customers that you will manage over years.
Success in the role is quick learning of the industry under our in-house training and induction process. Then you will be entrusted to take calls and emails and develop your sales and accounts through excellent customer service and great relationship building skills. Good organisation is vital.
You will bring energy, enthusiasm, great communication skills, verbal and written, and a sharp intellect to engage customers through your credibility and integrity.
You will be handling both telephone and email enquiries and being target driven to convert enquiries to bookings.
Remuneration:
Basic pay GBP25,000 - GBP30,000 pa, depending on experience, plus commission, c. 30%, giving on target earning of GBP40,000+ (uncapped). There are personal and team commission structures. There is a route to earn in excess of GBP50,000 in year 2 for high flyers.
Requirements:
- 3 A levels and minimum of 6 GCSEs including English and Maths
- Degree level preferred
- Any previous customer service experience is essential
- Fantastic verbal communication skills - listening, processing information, explaining
- Can-do attitude and an achiever mindset
- Computer literate to process orders accurately and email with good English
