Our Purpose
To provide a scheduled waste and recycling collection for our residents of North-East Lincolnshire. Working efficiently, effectively ensuring value for money, meeting the values set out in the core aims of the local authority.
Your Role
Through a range of activities including supporting the managing absence and well-being of staff, performance, conduct and capability issues, arranging meetings, preparation and timely circulation of related documents, note taking, dealing with enquiries and identifying matters arising from minutes and action / monitor action as required and other administrative duties associated with the role. You will investigate corporate complaints at a level expected for this role, and respond according to NELC procedures.
You will contribute, gathering and analysis intelligence data and performance information, training events and ensure attendance records, training and development records are maintained and kept up to date.
There will be occasions you will need to deputise for Team Leaders for holiday and sickness cover in relation to daily operational tasks, and therefore flexible start and finish times are required.
About You
The right candidate will be part of the Waste Services team supporting, the manager and Team Leaders to develop both short and long term plans for delivering specific operational activities within Waste Operations and ensure continuous improvement.
We are looking for a first-class communicator who is keen to learn, has an enquiring mind, an ability to build relationships with people at all levels and is IT, maths, and English literate.

(However, this may be subject to change and will of course be dependent on your notice period and relevant pre-employment clearances being completed)
Working Arrangements
This role is an office, and operational role, and flexible start and finish time are essential. There is also a period of no annual leave for 3 weeks over the festive period apart from Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Years Day. These dates will vary each year.
