Water Hygiene Engineer

Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer.
Location: Luton, Bedfordshire.
Salary / Benefits £22k - £35k + Training + Benefits

We are currently recruiting for a privately owned and well-established Water Hygiene / legionella company, they are now looking to take on a Water Hygiene Engineer to work on Industrial, Retail, and Commercial sites, across the South East region. You will be experienced in carrying out various L8 monitoring duties alongside a team of dedicated engineers, ensuring work is carried out in line with ACoP L8 guidelines. Experience & Qualifications:
" Extensive hands-on experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer for an established Water Hygiene / Legionella company.
" Well versed in ACoP L8 / Health & Safety Guidelines.
" Familiar with updating onsite logbooks.
" Able to work to agreed deadlines.
" Excellent communication skills.
The Role:
" Cold water storage tank cleans and disinfections.
" Temperature monitoring and water sampling.
" TMV and failsafe servicing.
" Hot water cylinder purging and testing.
" Showehead descales and cleans.
" Flushing of little used outlets.
" Closed system sampling and dosing.
" Working in line with ACoP L8 / HSG guidelines.
" Ensuring onsite logbooks are up to date and accurate.
" Liaising with clients, ensuring to maintain excellent working relationships.
