Water Treatment Engineer

Job Title: Water Treatment Engineer.
Location: Reading, Berkshire.
Salary / Benefits £22k - £37k + Training + Benefits
Our client is a leading Water Hygiene / Water Treatment company who have a strong presence in the South of England. They are now on the market for a Water Treatment Engineer to join their established team. This role would suit a candidate who has extensive experience carrying L8 compliance duties and is flexible and client focused, ensuring all client needs are met to the highest standard. Experience & Qualifications:
" Will have an engineering background, working for an established Water Hygiene / Legionella company.
" Knowledge / experience of water softener, chlorine dioxide units, UV systems, and chemical dosing plant would be beneficial to the role.
" Able to demonstrate excellent practical knowledge of ACoP L8 / HSG 274 legislation.
" Excellent communication skills.
" Able to manage workload efficiently.
" Good IT skills.
The Role:
" Carrying out the sampling and analysis of LTHW and CHW.
" Carrying out chemical dosing
" Flushing of closed systems.
" Water sampling
" Temperature monitoring.
" TMV servicing and failsafes.
" CWST cleans and chlorinations.
" Showerhead cleans and descales.
" Closed system testing and analysis.
" Helping the equipment department with commissioning of Water Treatment equipment.
" Carrying out cooling tower cleans and disinfections.
" Providing support and assistance to training new employees.
" Ensuring to complete onsite logbooks upon completion of work.
" Working in line with ACoP L8 / HSG 274 legislation.
