AddressWater Hygiene Technician - BerkshireMy client have been successfully operating for over 35 years within the mechanical and electrical industry.In total, they employ around 90 engineers across the business with a mix of Mobile, Foot Mobile & Static Engineers across a variety of different disciplines including Gas, HVAC, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, BMS, Fabric etc.They specialise within Commercial Offices in London but also have a lot of contracts in retail and also have Barclays Bank, HSBC, Lloyds Banking Group and RBSTHE JOB - Water Hygiene TechnicianThey are a seeking a Water Hygiene Technician to join their team of 6 to cover West of London & the Berkshire Area on a Mobile Basis. You will not travel further than an hour from Berkshire.• Monday – Friday• 8am – 5pm• 41.25 Hour WeeksRole & Responsibilities• To ensure that the water hygiene and Water Treatment maintenance, servicing and repair works are carried out in accordance with our clients, current L8, HSG274 standards and any other relevant legislation.• To carry out PPM and additional works when the business demands it.• To regularly and effectively communicate with clients and other personnel in order to maintain and develop excellent professional working relationships and ensure smooth operation of the business.• The job holder will be expected to organise their work and time efficiently, and to work supportively within a team.• Attend to scheduled visits during normal working hours and outside of normal working hours (including weekend)• Punctual site attendance, wearing relevant PPE and clothing issued.• Submitting clear, concise and accurate reports of works carried out, with clear recommendations for any further work required within recognised timescales.• Submitting weekly accurate timesheets.• Meet the standard KPI’s• Work a reasonable amount of overtime (as the business workload demands)• Communicating with line manager on work / task progression via daily communication and scheduled meetings.PERSON SPECIFICATION• Sound knowledge of Water Treatment and water hygiene• Awareness of and experience working to L8, HSG 274, BS 8552• Water tank disinfection• Sealed system analysis and interpretation• Sealed system flushing• System and analysis using photometer and other measuring equipment• Hot water heating including Calorifiers• Chemical, inhibitor and biocide dosing• Cooling tower monitoring / reporting• Quoting for additional works• Softener servicing / monitoring• Sound knowledge of commercial plumbing• Sound knowledge of building servicesQualifications:• Driving Licence• Intermediate/Advanced PC Skills – Word, Excel, Outlook• Basic PC skills / competence• Legionella awareness• Trained in Health and Safety• Basic electricalSALARY & PACKAGE• Up to £35,000• Van & Fuel Card- 25 days holiday + bank- 1 in 13 call out – £65 Standby- Annual Salary reviews- Overtime Paid @ x1.5 & x2- Bonus Schemes (will explain more at interview)- Company Pension Contribution is 3%- Expenses- Tools Insurance- Mobile- Ipad- Uniform & PPE- Recognition Scheme- Well-being CalendarPLEASE CONTACT SEAN HITCHMAN ON / .
