Our client is the chosen utility partner managing multiple contracts across the UK, delivering leading multi-utility infrastructure solutions, through to long-term ownership and operation, they deliver on all fronts – water, wastewater, all forming part of our multi-utility solution for all types of Projects.
They have a new opportunity for a Water Utility Project Manager’s to assist in the Project Management of the safe installation and working of all projects around their water Networks. This full time, permanent position is based at our office in Scotland.
About the role
• Supervision of all assets are constructed as designed in a safe manner
• Supervision of MU teams ensuring codes of conduct are adhered to and mentor where needed
• One site visit per team per week for works under the control of the Senior Project Manager.
• Assisting the Senior PM with Network construction including material control and take offs, as well as responsibility for Project Budgets and costs.
• Liaison with the Scheduling Team to ensure your program progress is communicated effectively to highlight any potential delays / accelerations / impact to the program of works.
• Site audits / Team audits / Van audits one per team per month.
• Audit of site preparation.
• Assist with existing asset and/or plant queries.
• Assist with emergencies.
• Closure of corrective actions.
About the Candidate
They are looking for someone with experience and/or qualifications as well as having a working knowledge of current Legislation, Technical Standards & Specifications, Codes of Practice and Recommendations relating to Water Distribution Systems. Travel is required so you must have a full and valid driving license. Training on our systems and the company will be provided.
