About the role

Join us as a Wealth Paraplanner

  • You’ll be supporting wealth managers and specialists to provide high quality advice to our clients relating to wealth structuring, investments, offshore and onshore bonds and protection

What you'll do

As a Wealth Paraplanner, you’ll be managing the investment and relationship needs of our clients, with the guidance and supervision of a regulated wealth manager.  You’ll be ensuring the accurate and timely completion of clients’ wealth management and financial documentation. And you’ll be proactively assisting wealth managers to manage the growth, profitability, and business mix of their portfolios.

You’ll also be:

  • Using your experience and expert knowledge to research, analyse data, draft reports and client briefs for managers to review, approve and sign
  • Preparing client documentation and administration and liaising with private banking colleagues
  • Identifying opportunities for new and existing clients and maintaining the ongoing management of the existing client book

The skills you'll need

To be successful in this role, you’ll hold a CISI Level 4 certificate or equivalent, along with experience of supporting a wealth manager. We’ll be looking for excellent client service skills, so you’ll also need strong communication and interpersonal skills. Additionally, you’ll need to demonstrate technical knowledge of investment and financial planning products.

We’ll also look for you to have:

  • Expertise in detailed client profiling, risk analysis and asset allocation
  • The ability to clearly articulate issues and solutions and challenge in a constructive way
  • Strong attention to detail, as well as analytical and lateral thinking skills
  • Highly numerate with excellent time management skills
  • Commercially minded with a flexible, driven and team focused approach to work
