Job Title: IT & Systems Development Engineer
Salary: Up to £45,000 DOE - Open to varying levels of experience.
Location: Onsite - Newcastle area (Hybrid flexibility potential upon passing of probationary period)
We are working exclusively with a client of ours in the North East who are looking for a talented developer to join their team and work on developing extensions for their SAP Business One ERP systems, building supporting web apps around the main ERP data, as well as integrating it with our IoT/Factory 4.0 implementations, ensuring that the data is clean for business intelligence purposes.
You will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining high-quality software solutions that meet their business needs and enhance their production processes.
You will also need to provide technical support and troubleshooting for their end-users and stakeholders.
Job Requirements:
- Demonstratable Knowledge of developing applications using SQL and web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JS Frameworks [VUE, Express] etc.)
- Experience in deploying and managing distributed software applications on a network, using tools such as Kubernetes, Docker, Git, etc.
- Documentation for software applications and API for end user consumption
- Driving Licence and means of transport
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience
The following requirements are desired; however, we do not expect any one candidate to embody all below experience:
- Experience in working with SAP Business One SDK and/or SAP Business One Service Layer and developing extensions and add-ons for SAP B1 ERP system 1
- Experience in working with IoT platforms and technologies, such as Arduino, MQTT, cloud computing, edge computing, etc2
- Experience in implementing Industry 4.0 concepts and use cases, such as big data, analytics, autonomous robotics, etc.
