Seeking a talented Web & WordPress Developer who loves to create excellent code, websites and deliver the future of the internet.

About Us:

As a vibrant and forward-thinking digital marketing agency, we're looking for an experienced and enthusiastic person to join the team and help lead the agency's web development projects and services.

Who We Need:

We are looking for a great communicator with excellent organization skills, who is capable of understanding the needs and prorities of clients and projects, and delivering great solutions to meet them.

This role requires someone with great problem-solving skills, attention to detail and high standards when it comes to delivering on website development.

You'll have experience building bespoke WordPress websites from the ground-up, working from design and UI assets, and collaborating with other team members.

This role also offers the opportunity to lead web development efforts within an agency, growing a team and working closely with our founder and Managing Director to exceed client expectations.

Location:

We operate on a hybrid basis, with at least two days per week working with the team in our offices in Teddington in South West London, and the rest from wherever suits you best!

Your Role:

  • Collaborate closely with other team members and partners to deliver great results.
  • Take charge of web projects, DevOps and our codebases.
  • Develop bespoke and custom themes and plugins for WordPress, ensuring great responsive and cross-browser/cross-device support.
  • Optimise websites for speed, UX, performance and SEO.
  • Update, change and maintain existing websites with a variety of tech stacks/environments.
  • Respond to and troubleshoot issues and bugs, monitor and respond to security threats.
  • Contribute ideas and join our commitment to ensuring we deliver the best experiences and results for website users and clients.

We're Looking For :

  • Flawless communication skills and fluency in English.
  • Self-motivated with exceptional organizational abilities.
  • Proven 3+ years of experience in web and WordPress development.
  • In-depth experience with bespoke/custom theme and plugin development.
  • In-depth experience with Advanced Custom Fields and popular page builders.
  • Familiarity with modern development environments including NPM, Composer, Tailwind.
  • Familiarity with frameworks such as Sage Roots.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a solid work ethic.
  • Some experience managing other team members.

Nice-to-Haves :

  • Degree-level education (preferred but not essential).
  • Experience working with other platforms such as Shopify, Magento, Squarespace, Wix and Webflow.
  • Experience working in an agency setting.
  • Experience in marketing automation and tracking.
  • Experience in technical and B2B spaces.

The Team:

We currently have a regular, friendly team of 8 people, working across marketing, web development, design and business operations, plus frequently used freelancers and collaborators. Your role will be to lead on day-to-day execution of website development projects, whilst collaborating with our team closely.

The Interview Process:

There may also be a short task to complete as part of interview process.
