Our client, based on site at Land Rover in Solihull, is currently looking for CLEANERS to join their established team working to support the operation on site.
Your primary responsibility will be to clean and maintain the paint shop area of the site but you need to be prepared to be flexible in the roles you are asked to complete. You will be part of a team working throughout the facility to maintain the excellent standards of cleanliness expected by the Land Rover team on site.
You will be on your feet for the entirety of your shift. This is an extremely physical role which will require heavy lifting. You will be cleaning out the run off in the paint shop area which requires lifting and moving heavy grates, digging out of the trenches and you must be prepared to get dirty. The shifts are 12 hours and with the extremely physical nature of the role you will need to be physically fit and strong to match the demands. It will be critical that you adhere to the Health and Safety elements of the role and that you follow the training given.
Additionally you will need to complete training for use of specific equipment on site and also pass a confined spaces training course. Both elements are critical to securing a long term position.
