Job Summary:
We are seeking a Weekend Events Person to join our team. This position will be responsible for assisting with various events and ensuring a positive experience for our customers. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and time management skills, as well as experience in the sales industry.
Duties:
- Event setup, including erecting gazebo, tables and displaying of stock.
- Selling to the general public so customer service skills are essential.
- Provide exceptional guest services throughout the event
- Upsell additional products or services to enhance the customer experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of event spaces
- Must be able to drive the company van
Requirements:
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers
- Excellent time management skills to ensure events run smoothly and on schedule
- Previous experience in a sales or hospitality setting is preferred
- Ability to upsell products or services to enhance the customer experience
- Organisational skills to handle multiple tasks and prioritise responsibilities
- Must be able to work weekends as required
