Our cutting-edge chewing gum factory in Estover, Plymouth, is expanding, and we're seeking dedicated Weekend Factory Operatives to join our team. As a Weekend Factory Operative, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the production lines, consistently delivering the high-quality products we're known for. While prior factory experience as a Machine Operator is advantageous, they provide extensive and supportive on-the-job training. Expect a physically demanding role, offering room for growth and the chance to learn more technical aspects of the work.
Requirements:
- Availability for training Mon-Friday on either rotating shift (06:00-14:00/14:00-22:00) night shift (22:00-06:00) and weekend shifts.
- A proactive attitude and a strong willingness to learn.
- Transportation to our Plymouth location.
What We Offer:
- Competitive pay rates: 14.70- 17.28 per hour
- Weekend shifts on a rotating schedule (Saturday and Sunday week one: 06:00-18:00, week two: 18:00-06:00)
- 28 days of holiday pay, rising to 33 (pro-rata) after 12 weeks
