Hours: 8am - 4pm (Monday - Thursday) 8am - 3.30pm (Friday)

Salary: From GBP25k (DOE) + Supplemental Pay

About The Position:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Weighing Machine Site Engineer to join the team. As a Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in repairing, maintaining, and servicing Weighing Machinery at various customer sites, ensuring optimal functionality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct on-site repairs, maintenance, and servicing of Weighing Machinery ( scales) , including Weighbridges.
• Installation and commissioning weighing equipment on site.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues with precision and efficiency.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their specific needs and provide effective solutions.
• Perform routine inspections to ensure equipment compliance with industry standards.
• Document service activities, including detailed reports and recommendations.
• Work closely with the internal team to coordinate logistics and scheduling.

Requirements:

• Electrical / electronics qualifications
• Proven experience in repairing, maintaining, and servicing machinery (Ideally Weighing Machinery)
• Technical expertise in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
• Possession of a valid driving licence is essential.
• Willingness to travel to various sites, with the ability to stay overnight if required for long distance jobs.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to safety protocols and industry regulations.
• Occasional Saturday work may be required (Rota system)
