Welder Fabricator - Architectural
Location: Banbury, Oxfordshire
Salary: £16 - £18 per hour + Excellent Benefits
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent (40hours)
The Client:
Our client is a well-established engineering firm specialising in welding and fabrication with a portfolio of projects ranging from bespoke brackets to large-scale structural steelwork.
The Role:
As a skilled Fabricator / Welder, youll play a vital role in the production process, utilising Mig welding, power tools, and hand tools to fabricate and weld metal components.
Duties:
* Fabricate and weld metal components from blueprints
* Operate power tools for cutting, shaping, and assembling metal parts
* Conduct Mig welding to join metal pieces
* Utilise basic math skills for measurements and calculations
* Inspect final products for quality and accuracy
* Adhere to safety procedures and maintain a tidy work area
Requirements:
* Previously worked as a Fabricator, Welder or in a similar role.
* Ideally, have 1 year fabrication and 5 years MIG welding experience
* Proficiency in fabricating and welding structural and architectural steelwork
* Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in metal fabrication
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
