Fabricator Welder (Facilities maintenance cover)

37.5 Hours per week. Typical hours Monday to Thursday, 7.30am to 4.15pm. Friday finish at Midday. Flexi Time also available.
Fabricator Welder required for a bespoke manufacturer of industrial electro-mechanical products.
This position is a varied role, where there is room for development within a people focused employer.
The successful candidate will have previous Fabrication and Welding experience, including working from designs and drawings. You will have some form of relevant technical qualification. Any previous experience of maintenance or facilities maintenance support is highly desirable.
The Fabricator Welder Role:

• Fabricate and weld brackets, framework and pipework, working sometimes with and without drawings.
• To read drawings and fabricate/weld parts associated with the drawing.
• To use machinery associated with the manufacture of metal parts i.e. Guillotine, Brake press, Radial Arm Drill, hand tools, Oxygen/Acetylene cutting etc.
• To ensure all work carried out is done to the highest standard.
• Ensure all quality control and customer specific documentation has been completed.
• Assisting the team with facilities maintenance.
• Periodically, working to tight deadlines.
• To carry out all production operations in accordance with the company Health & Safety policy, ensuring your personal safety and that of others working in your area.

The Successful Fabricator Welder:

• You will have previous Fabrication and Welding experience, including working from designs and drawings.
• You will have some form of relevant technical qualification.
• You will work on facilities maintenance, so any previous experience of maintenance or similar skills is highly advantageous.
