Salary: up to 16.00 per hour (dependant on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday 7.30am - 3.30pm

Role Summary:
Your role as General Operative will be supporting the busy manufacturing team on the shop floor. Responsible for ensuring orders are completed in a timely manner and to the highest quality.

Key responsibilities within your new role would be to:
- Understand drawings and blueprints to determine project requirements.
- Select appropriate materials as per the job sheet.
- Cut metals down to correct size and shape for each project.
- Weld components together to build a completed unit.
- Use the punch machine to make holes in the materials.
- Use the press brake machine to fold metals as per requirements.
- Work as part of the production team to assembly completed units as per customer specification.
- Carry out quality checks on products to ensure they meet customer specification and industry regulations.
- Ensure components are finished, deburred and are safe to be assembled.
Experience and skills required for this position:
- TIG Welding experience is essential (at least 1 years' experience)
- Experience with Sheet Metal Work
- Ideally you will have worked in a manufacturing / production environment
- Be able to work in a team as well as on your own initiative
- Due to the nature of the business you will be required to have a security clearance check carried out
