Welder / Production Operative

Welder/Fabricator / Near Eye, Suffolk / Up To £28,000 per annum / Full time / Permanent

We are seeking an Welder/Fabricator to join our client on a full time, permanent basis near Eye, Suffolk.

Hours

Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm.

Salary

Up to £28,000 per annum.

Own transport is essential due to location.

Duties include:

• MIG welding products for the medical industry.
• Using various workshop machinery such as lathes, drills and hand tools to cut, shape and assemble a variety of metal parts.
• TIG welding but training can be provided.
• Assistance with production duties as and when required.
• Reading technical drawings.

The successful candidate will have:

• Experience in MIG welding
• Experience in TIG welding (desirable)
• The ability to read 2D/3D engineering drawings.
• Excellent IT skills
• Good attention to detail
