The Role:

• Provide apprenticeship Welding and Fabrication education and training to a range of different students
• Supporting students providing in depth and demonstratable knowledge in welding and fabrication
• Contribute to the delivery and monitoring of course modules and planning and development of modules and units
• Undertake research, development and ensure materials are up to date to contribute to the continuous improvement strategy
• Ensure learners achieve agreed academic targets by providing defined programs and learning opportunities
• 23.5 hours teaching per week with 15.5 hours administration and development time
• On-the-job training to become a qualified teacher

The Person:

• Level 3 in Welding / Fabrication
• Good qualifications in both English and Maths
