We are looking for a welfare rights advisor. You will become a part of team of advisors providing general, housing, and debt advice. You will also be a part of our wider benefits team working across West London.
We are looking for people with recent experience as a caseworker, with direct involvement in advising clients on benefit issues including PIP, UC, and capability for work, HR and eligibility for benefits.
We have a track record of trying new ways to help people and of using imaginative ways of helping people facing dire conditions. The right person will be looking to continually develop their skills and we will provide additional training to help personal developments for the right person. To be successful you will need knowledge and experience of providing benefits advice and casework, as well as a drive to build your expertise.
Nucleus Legal Advice Centre is an accredited Specialist Debt, Housing and Benefits advice provider.
The successful candidate will need to:
- Be the lead advisor, supporting their clients and colleagues/ volunteers at our office in Earls Court
- Work with the Ealing benefits team. (We are the specialist advice providers for the Ealing Advice Consortium)
- Work with our advice partners in RBKC.
