Welfare Officer (First Aid)
Location: Secondary School in Harrow
Salary: £12.50 to £15.50 per hour (depending on experience)
Working Hours: 8:00 am to 3:45 pm (with a 30-minute break)

Role Overview: As the Welfare Officer, you will be a vital member of the school community, responsible for providing essential first aid support and contributing to the overall well-being of students. In addition to first aid duties, this role involves administrative tasks and collaboration with the Attendance Officer to record student absences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer first aid and emergency medical care to students and staff.
- Maintain accurate records of medical incidents and first aid treatments.
- Collaborate with the Attendance Officer to record and monitor student absences.
- Assist in the implementation of health and safety policies.
- Conduct health promotion activities within the school community.
- Undertake administrative tasks related to the role.
Requirements:
- Recognised First Aid qualification.
- Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable.
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other school staff.
Working Hours: This is a full-time, long-term position with working hours from 8:00 am to 3:45 pm, including a 30-minute break.
Salary: The hourly rate for this position is between £12.50 and £15.50, depending on experience.
