We have a vacancy for a Wellbeing Access Worker within our team, marketing and promoting both Hertfordshire Mind Network and Hertfordshire Partnership University Foundation Trust Wellbeing Services to improve access and reach of mental health provisions. Please note that this is not a client facing role.

About the Role
The Wellbeing Access Worker will work closely in partnership with Hertfordshire Partnership University Foundation Trust (HPFT) Talking Therapies to improve access and reach of mental health provision across Hertfordshire.

The post holder will play a key role marketing and promoting both organisation’s provision, as well as ensuring relationships between both partners are maintained. The post holder will work to ensure that individuals who need to access mental health support are able to, by providing accurate information and guidance.

Key Responsibilities

* Support organisational growth and development, in line with strategic priorities, by providing the team with informed data regarding access

* Involve clients, carers, staff and volunteers in access and engagement work

* Work closely with colleagues to inform service development to reflect the needs of local communities

* Work in line with the aims of the Wellbeing Service Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) programme and the operational policy of the service

* Ensure the service is fully accessible to service users and carers and provide information on the service

* Promote and raise the profile of Hertfordshire Mind Network (HMN) and the Wellbeing Service provision within the local community. The aim is to raise awareness within the community of IAPT work and mental health provision and promote awareness of the issues relating to mental health

* Be pro-active in researching promotional opportunities such as local events, flagship days, digital platforms and conferences.

* Work with colleagues to create innovative ways to promote Talking Therapies and Hertfordshire Mind Network Services, including use of social media, videos and traditional promotional methods e.g. leaflet drops.

* Work with Talking Therapies to identify progression routes and provide a safe and supported exit for service users from the service; in line with this, explore service development and operational processes to support with this.

* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legislation, national and local policies and procedures in relation to mental health and Primary Care Services.

* Ensure services are fully accessible by making information available and disseminating it.

* Ensure that all records and confidential information is stored appropriately.

* Ensure that databases are kept up to date.

* Annual leave entitlement of 25 days per year pro rata, rising in increments to a max. of 29 days after 5 years employment (plus 8 days Bank Holidays)
