Wellbeing Officer
Job Description:
Core - Asset are working on an exciting opportunity for an experienced Wellbeing Officer to join a growing team in the legal sector.
You will work independently on various wellbeing initiatives, collaborating with internal staff and external stakeholders as needed.
The role involves developing and implementing wellbeing strategy and requires a commitment to promoting inclusivity and diversity within the organisation.
This is an ideal role for someone who has experience and is passionate about wellbeing, diversity, and inclusion.
Essential Skills/Experience:
- A degree level or equivalent work experience.
- The post holder should be passionate about inclusion and wellbeing
- Previous experience in developing and implementing wellbeing strategies.
- Experience in creating and managing diversity networks and implementing positive action interventions.
- Demonstrated ability to manage diverse engagement calendars and organise events.
- Strong interpersonal skills for cultivating stakeholder relationships.
- Clear and strategic thinker with good inter-personal skills and communication skills.
- Ability to influence individuals and situations.
- Strong organisational skills
- Ability to work on own initiative, suggest ways forwards and proactively drive activities forward.
- Well-developed report writing skills
- High level of competence in IT packages and use of social media
- Works to a high standard, paying close attention to detail
- Ability to function at a high level in a multi-disciplinary team.
Core Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive three-year wellbeing strategy.
- Manage the day-to-day engagement calendar relating to wellbeing, enhancing the visibility of wellbeing initiatives.
- Host and oversee a series of wellbeing events and campaigns throughout the year, targeting diverse sections.
- Take the lead in managing all stakeholder relationships in relation to wellbeing.
- Participate and lead all wellbeing committees and workshops.
- Ensure the firm complies with equality and diversity standards, actively working to enhance diversity and inclusion.
- Establish diversity networks and implement positive action interventions to support underrepresented groups.
- Organise and facilitate events to raise awareness and embed a culture of inclusion and diversity.
- To undertake any other project as reasonably assigned by the Head of HR.
