The post of temporary Wellbeing Volunteer Co-ordinator is based at our Occupational Health and Wellbeing Service (OHWS), based at the Sedgley Park Training Centre, Manchester, M25 0JT.
The aim of this role, is to co-ordinate, maintain and drive a wellbeing strategy and delivery plans to support the organisation with wellbeing, to maximise the health, wellbeing, engagement and effectiveness of GMP staff. The postholder will be required to provide and maintain good quality support to the networks of Wellbeing Single Point of Contacts (SPOCs), Resilience Coaches and Mental Health Peer Supporters.
If successful, you will be responsible for designing and developing materials in support of the Force Wellbeing Board initiatives, including; collating event feedback, evaluation, preparing recommendations and communications to raise force awareness of Wellbeing activity. You will also be required manage and maintain administrative systems and deal with a wide range of enquiries from internal and external customers at all levels.
This role requires experience of planning and organising appointments and events. You will also be required to work to timescales with minimum supervision, using initiative to query, clarify and process details. The capability to produce written work to the required standard, accurately and concisely to meet deadlines is also a necessity.
