Welsh Speaking Learning Support Officer

The school are keen to promote experiential learning and tailor their teaching to each pupil’s individual needs. The pupils and staff work hard, try their best and build positive relationships in a nurturing environment.

The school is looking to take on a Welsh speaking Learning Support Officer/LS0 on a full-time basis for one term. However, there is possibility this position could extend for the right person. This is an extremely varied role, and the successful applicant will be working across both Key Stage One/KS1 and Key Stage Two/KS2. The Learning Support Officer/LSO will be working closely with a variety of teachers therefore good communication skills and flexibility are key to this role, and this will ensure the quality of teaching and learning is maintained.

 The successful Learning Support Officer will have:

• NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
• High standard of spoken and written Welsh (fluent)
• Experience of working with the entire primary age range
• Passionate about working with children.
