An exciting opportunity has arisen to lead on the formation and implementation of community Sickle Cell services Improvement Projects in North West London and South West London. We are looking for versatile, dynamic and committed self-starters for this area who will be dedicated to delivering an improved community service to Sickle Cell patients.
Strong negotiation and persuasive skills are essential, supported by solid data and analytical skills, the ability to motivate teams and a flexible approach are also required within the role, in order to drive the work of the projects. A high level of tact and diplomacy is essential, alongside the ability to understand other cultures, to enable effective working across organisational boundaries and the project includes a number of service providers.
You will have a sound grasp of key NHS standards, policies and goals and have existing experience of staff management and multi-disciplinary working. A track record of achievement in project management and the successful implementation of change in a health care setting are essential requirements for the this post.
The post holder will support and challenge project teams to develop and manage their implementation work in a systematic way, and to interface with the overall programme.
There is the option for hybrid working with this role: the expectation is that the post holder would spend a minimum of two days on site but could feasibly work the remainder of the time remotely.
The main purpose of this post is to help establish improved community provision for Sickle Cell patients in West London by providing dedicated and tailored project management support to Sickle Cell Improvement programmes of work in the North West London and South West London Integrated Care Services.
