SalaryHalliwell Jones (Warrington) is looking for a Wheel Centre Tyre Technician.
Your role
The position is located at our Warrington Centre which is a fantastic modern facility consisting of Aftersales, Bodyshop and BMW and MINI Sales.
Your Responsibilities:
- To remove wheels from vehicles, remove tyres, valves and weights in preparation for wheel repair/refurbishment.
- To refit tyres, valves and balance wheels following wheel refurbishment.
- Carry out road tests to reset Tyre Pressure Monitoring Systems when required.
- Fit-supplied tyres when requested.
- Identify and advise on tyres identified as requiring repair or replacement.
Your profile
- Knowledge of all tyre products and ability to make recommendations of products when required.
- Ability to work within given timescales and complete a wide range of tasks.
- Willingness to learn and develop personal knowledge and keep up-to-date with complex/ technical/product information, to improve profitability.
- Ability to work autonomously, unsupervised and within a team environment.
- Highly motivated, team player that offers help and support to others, attention to detail.
- An outstanding attitude and passion for customer service.
- An enthusiastic, dynamic and team-orientated personality.
- Ability to deal with customers when necessary.
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
- Excellent time management, communication and administration skills.
- Contribute to ‘good housekeeping' routines in the workshop.
