Job description

Are you passionate about connecting people with nature to inspire action for a Wilder Nottinghamshire?

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to inspire and empower local people to take action for nature at home and in the wider community, with a focus on south Nottinghamshire. Combining community organising and site-based approaches, you will create links between communities and our flagship Attenborough Nature Reserve, raising awareness of the need for action and facilitating positive change towards a Wilder Nottinghamshire.

Knowledge of, and links with, communities across the south of the county will be as important as your commitment to creating a Wilder Nottinghamshire. As part of our People and Nature team you’ll work with volunteers and community champions to build a movement for nature across Nottinghamshire. Salary: £25,843 per annum (pay award pending)

Contract: permanent full time (37.5 hours per week)

Location: Attenborough Nature Centre (Barton Lane, Attenborough, Nottingham NG9 6DY)

There will be also be regular travel to various locations throughout the county.
