We have a Fabulous Opportunity with an Award-Winning, Lexcel Accredited City Centre Law Firm for a Paralegal / Fee Earner with Private Client / Wills and Probate Experience

We are working with a small, well-established, highly reputable, Lexcel accredited law firm who are looking to attract an experienced Private Client Paralegal / Fee Earner to join their busy Private Client (Wills, Probate and Court of Protection) team, based in Coventry city centre.

The job will involve:

• Running a varied caseload of private client matters, under supervision, and supporting colleagues/senior solicitors with their caseloads, covering: 
  • Wills and Probate
  • Administration of Estates
  • Lasting Powers of Attorney
  • Inheritance Tax Planning and Trusts
  • Court of Protection and Deputyship
• Preparing Lasting Powers of Attorneys
• Drafting wills, probate applications and applications to the Court of Protection

Suitable candidates will have:

• Experience of running a private client caseload under supervision
• Experience of court of protection work (desirable)
• The ability to work well using your own initiative, and as part of a team 
• Excellent client care skills including the ability to demonstrate an understanding of clients’ needs and expectations
• Good time-management and organisational skills 

This is a full-time permanent job working 9am to 5.15pm Monday to Friday. The role is currently office-based, however the opportunity for home-working part of the week may be considered, going forward.  Reduced hours will also be considered for suitably experienced candidates.
