Wills and Probate Solicitor

LAW Absolute is recruiting on behalf of a well-respected high street firm based in the Bletchley area of Milton Keynes. With parking available and two nearby train stations, this firm is easily accessible, and is offering a permanent role for an experienced private client solicitor, who would like to work autonomously.

The current caseload is sufficient to offer this role initially as part-time 3 days per week, however the firm would ideally like to appoint a solicitor who will be able to build the caseload back up to full-time 5 days per week. This role is replacing a member of staff who retired, and the firm is well-known in the local area, so they receive a lot of recommendations for private client work.

As a permanent member of staff at this firm you will handle a caseload of private client matters including wills, probate, and LPAs. It would be ideal if you can also deal with Court of Protection matters, although this is not absolutely essential.

To apply you will be:

• A UK-qualified solicitor, admitted to the SRA for England and Wales Experienced in handling private client matters, and confident to work unsupervised in this area of law Looking to work in a firm where you will have complete autonomy over your own day-to-day practice Able to commute to the office in Bletchley, Milton Keynes, on a hybrid basis with at least 2 days per week in the office

The firm is willing to negotiate on the salary. They would like to receive your application along with your desired salary, and discuss it with you from there.
