SalaryWe are recruiting a Wire Rope Press Operator for our client in Aberdeen. This is a permanent position with core hours of 39 hours a week (8am to 430pm) . Enhanced rate for overtime thereafter. Regular overtime on offer.
The client is a expert in the provision of Wire Rope products, including marine mooring equipment and anchoring systems. The company offers heavy spooling services, proof testing and inspection facilities, and full rigging shop services.
No previous experience is required as full training will be given but it would be advantageous to have worked in a similar environment and to have regularly carried out manual labouring.
The main purpose of the role is to manufacture Wire Rope in accordance with work instructions.
Duties will include bit not be limited to:-
Manufacture of lifting accessories.
Inspect lifting accessories in accordance with working instructions.
Operate equipment as per training and work instructions.
Conduct statutory thorough examinations of lifting accessories.
Accurate completion if paperwork.
Out of hours work may be required to cover needs of the business.
Adhere to all H & S polices and procedures.
