SalaryWe have an exciting new role due to expansion and upcoming projects as a WMS/IT Tester to join our team.
The WMS facing role will support with delivering testing of the WMS solution and support in the ongoing stabilisation and enhancements within the Supply Chain and Distribution areas of the business.
This role will be closely aligned with our IT team and as such there will be a requirement to work on wider IT based projects when appropriate to do so.
The role will Include:
- Review and analyse business requirements and functional specifications
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand the system's functionality and business processes
- Develop comprehensive test plans
- Define test objectives, scope, resources, and schedule for testing activities
- Create detailed test cases based on the functional and technical specifications
- Design test scenarios that cover various use cases within the retail supply chain
- Execute test cases manually and, where applicable, design and implement automated test scripts
- Perform regression testing to ensure that new features do not negatively impact existing functionality
- Identify, document, and prioritize defects, working closely with developers and stakeholders to ensure timely resolution
- Maintain a defect tracking system to monitor and communicate the status of issues.
- Conduct performance testing to ensure the retail supply chain system can handle the expected load and performance requirements
- Perform security testing to identify and address vulnerabilities in the retail supply chain systems
About the Candidate:
- Experience within a similar role is essential
- Similar experience within a logistic background
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies, tools & applications
- Technically proficient
