Working with a leading manufacturer of protective transportation materials, Pertemps are seeking a Wood Machinist to work within the timber section.Job DescriptionWorking within the timber section you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process, ensuring the efficient and timely production of products. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently, and collaboratively in a team environment.A keen interest in woodwork is ideal.Due to the location of the client, a driver with their own vehicle is ideal. Key ResponsibilitiesProgramme computers correctly to ensure measurements are precise and monitor production.Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment.Perform quality checks to ensure products meet company standards.Follow production schedules and adhere to deadlines.Collaborate with team members to maximise efficiency and productivity.Maintain a clean and organised work area.Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols.About YouStrong attention to detail and accuracy.Effective communication and teamwork skills.Keen interest in woodwork.Good physical abilities, bending, lifting, standing.This is a temp to perm position paying GBP10.75 per hour.Hours of work: Monday to Friday 08:00 to 17:00If you are someone who has a genuine interest in building a career and joining the team, please apply now!
