Job Description

Fixed term contract until 31 March 2025 | £29,269 to £31,364 per annum (Scale G) | 37 hours per week | County Hall, Norwich

The newly formed Care Workforce Development team, seeks to raise the profile of adult social care as a career, supporting quality improvement and increasing capacity in Norfolk and Waveney. 

This role will take a lead on a geographical area in Norfolk and will specialise in working with adult social care organisations as part of our consultancy programme: which provides advice, guidance and coaching on how to access best practice and information related to recruitment, retention, and well-being.

The role will also be able to offer person-centred support to individual members of the workforce, though coaching and mentoring to identify suitable career pathways, relevant qualifications/training/skills development, funding opportunities and in-role development plans.

The successful candidate will be educated to Level 3, hold a mentoring and/or coaching qualification, or have equivalent knowledge and experience within the adult social care sector and/or a recruitment background. 

Please note the role includes travel across the county and work outside of normal office hours, including occasional weekends. The role will be hybrid, including some dedicated office time at County Hall, Norwich each week to work alongside other team members in person.  A current valid driving licence is required.
