We want talented people who are passionate about supporting our council services and developing their knowledge and experience in HR/recruitment. As a new council, we have a unique opportunity to implement bold and innovative resourcing approaches to ensure the organisation has the right people with the right skills in the right places. In this role you would ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of day-to-day operations and will work closely with service areas and HR/OD teams to provide general, customer focused resourcing, retention and succession support. This is an important role, and you will be supported by a great team!
You will:
- Provide resourcing and workforce related administration provision including providing budget management support
- Provide generalist resourcing, retention and succession support to colleagues, applicants and key stakeholders including leadership recruitment and safer employment
- Create and coordinate Workforce and Resourcing documentation and digital solutions e.g. amending or uploading documents, and the maintenance of the website and social media.
- Day to day management of the resourcing inboxes
- Work alongside the Recruitment Administration team to ensure an effective service.
- Create and coordinate content including jobs bulletins and web pages
- Contribute to improvements within our service, undertaking research and providing analysis or data
- Support a range of Workforce and Resourcing projects and events.
You would need to be collaborative and outcomes focused with some resourcing experience. Additionally, experienced in administrative processes with good customer service skills are essential. This is a fantastic opportunity if you want to develop your HR or recruitment career.
