Reporting directly into an on-site Site Manager, the role of an Working Foreman requires you to have knowledge of:
- Assist the Site Manager in coordinating and supervising construction projects from conception to completion.
- Dealing with decarbonization
- Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and site workers to ensure smooth project execution.
- Help in scheduling and coordinating project tasks, resources, and manpower efficiently.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks to ensure work meets standards and specifications.
- Assist in maintaining accurate project documentation and reports.
- Handle any issues or challenges that may arise on-site in a timely and effective manner.
- Support in managing project budgets, tracking expenses, and controlling costs.
About you
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Working Foreman to join on our client's dynamic construction team. The successful candidate will assist in overseeing and coordinating various construction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget. This role requires excellent organisational skills, a strong understanding of construction processes, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in the construction industry, preferably in a similar role for a period 2 or more years.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and tools.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively within a team.
- Understanding of safety regulations and procedures.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools (e.g., MS Office, project management software).
Skill set:
- An eye for detail.
- Strong man-management and motivational skills.
- Be able to write detailed reports.
- Excellent organisation.
- Customer facing and approachable.
- Happy to be on the tools
