SalaryAn excellent opportunity has arisen to work for an elite sport manufacturer in Reading as a Workshop Assistant, offering an annual salary of £21700 - £36192, dependent on experience. Working hours are Monday - Friday, 7:30AM - 4:00PM
As the Workshop Assistant, you will be responsible for:
- Undertake allocated tasks which assist with the day to day running of the European Service & Repair centre
- Maintenance, cleaning and organisation of the fleet of demonstration boats.
- Operate the daily operation in the stores and dispatch parts orders as received.
- To undertake preparation of repairs to rowing boats

The successful Workshop Assistant will have the following related skills / experience:
- Knowledge of rowing and the basic functions of a rowing boat would be advantageous
- Awareness of Health and Safety in the workshop environment
- Manual handling with heavy lifting
- A great team spirit with the common goal to achieve excellent results
- Trainees from an automotive/body shop/paint sprayer background welcome
