Heritage PS Talent Solutions are excited to be recruiting for an experienced Workshop Controller to work with our well established Main Dealer client in Hull, on a full-time, permanent basis. Reporting directly to the Service Manager the Workshop Controller will be responsible for the day to day running of the workshop.
Main duties of the Workshop Controller:
- Coordinate and allocate repair and maintenance work to the team
- Monitor work in progress and ensure timely completion, working towards departmental KPI's that have been set.
- Motivate and encourage team members to achieve productivity and quality targets, this includes hitting the Workshop efficiency against budget.
- Ensure the workshop adheres to safety and environmental guidelines.
- Assist with problem-solving and provide technical guidance when needed
- Maintain comprehensive records of work and inventory
- KPI's based around CSI and profit.
Requirements of the Workshop Controller:
- Proven experience in a Workshop Controller or similar role.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
- Strong organisational and scheduling abilities
- Ability to motivate and push team members to achieve exceptional results.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
