- Basic Salary up to £42,369
- OTE around £50,000
- Monday - Friday 08:00am - 17:30pm - 40 hours a week
The primary responsibility of the Commercial Workshop Controller is to:
- Ensure the profitable and efficient functioning of the Widnes Workshop Maximizing the utilization of productive staff and ensuring adherence to proper processes
- May be required to perform productive technician work as needed.
- This role requires a strong focus on achieving operational excellence and maintaining a high level of productivity within the workshop
- Previous experience in a supervisory/managerial role, preferably within the Commercial Vehicle Industry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of VOSA requirements and the MOT testers manual.
- Familiarity with Operators Licence Laws and Regulations.
- Ability to stay updated on the latest best working practices and maintain personal technical knowledge and skills.
- Technical qualifications equivalent to City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in Motor Vehicle Technology.
- Possession of a Class 1 HGV Licence.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and work independently.
- Proficiency in computer usage, including a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
