Here at ATA, we are excited to be working with our client who are one of the largest suppliers of material handling equipment in Europe in their search for a Workshop Engineer to join their well-established site in Corby.

Our client has been operating for just under 40 years alone within the UK and in this time has created a turnover of just under GBP80 million, while also being part of a larger group with a turnover north of GBP2Billion. With our client operating across multiple countries, our client is in a very stable position within the market, highlighting the job stability available with our client.

Furthermore, our client is highly focused on maintaining and developing their sites ensuring they are at the forefront of new technology, with new machinery being available along with the expansion of their sites. This gives a great opportunity to maintenance engineers to join a continuously improving company with an eye for the future.

The Role

During your time as the Workshop Engineer on site, you will be expected to work on a variety of kit as detailed below. The work you will be carrying out during your time will be either mechanical or electrical depending on your skillset. Therefore, as the Workshop Engineer onsite, you will be responsible for:

• Servicing material handling equipment.
• Stripping and rebuilding.
• Attending breakdowns as and when they rise.
• Inspecting and Refurbishing material handling equipment.
• Electrical and mechanical fault finding.

The Candidate

To be considered for this Workshop Engineer opportunity, you should have:

• The ability to fault find either electrically or mechanically.
• Engineering qualifications or be a time served engineer.
• Experience in an engineering environment
