Workshop Engineer required for our client. Firmly established as one of the UK's leading providers of engineering solutions, our client is actively looking for a Workshop Engineer to join their expanding company. Their work includes the repair or replacement of large electric motors, pumps, gearboxes, electronic controls and induction equipment. The ideal Workshop Engineer would be based around Luton.
The successful Workshop Engineer will have experience in a workshop environment repairing and fault-finding electric motors and pumps. The role will involve stripping down and refurbishing large-scale pumps that have been removed from client's sites, and then ensuring that they are fully operational, to a high standard, and ready to be reinstalled by the Site Engineer's.
The proficient Workshop Engineer should possess strong mechanical expertise and feel confident in disassembling and refurbishing various mechanical equipment, such as pumps and electric motors and be located around Luton.
Workshop Engineer Position Requirements
- Repair of pumps and associated electro / mechanical equipment
- Build and repair
- Testing of repairs before despatch
- Fault find and repair
Workshop Engineer Position Remuneration
- Basic Salary of 31,000 - 35,500
- Pension
- 39 hour working week
- Overtime
- 33 days annual leave (inc. bank holidays)
