£38,268
Monday to Friday – Days Role (39 hour week).

We are always looking towards the future and into ways to improve our processes and outputs. We rely on our colleagues and teams to identify how this can be done, with this in mind we are recruiting an experienced Workshop Engineer to join our Beenham site.
What’s the mission?
The role of the Workshop Engineer is to provide a range of engineering support and maintenance services across the Beenham manufacturing site. Predominantly the role is for the running and control of the engineering workshop, this should include the scheduling and repair of the tile boxes, refurbishment of parts and offline machine build up/assembly.
How can you help us:

  • Responsible for planned and reactive maintenance of tile boxes at the Beenham site.
  • Work within the departmental budget.
  • Ensure maintenance equipment spares are available as required.
  • Develop and implement core maintenance processes and procedures.
  • Deliver against site KPIs such as H & S, production TME, CI & 8D.
  • Ensure maintenance schedules are completed according to maintenance plan.
  • Ensure compliance to all regulatory/legal and corporate standards.
  • Continuously seek to add value, improve efficiency, and reduce wastage through applying lean principles, wherever applicable.
  • Liaise with other central MEL functions e.g. operational support, EHSQ.

What we would like you to bring to our team:

  • Maintenance background (Mechanical or Electrical, City & Guilds)
  • Competent and experienced in core mech/elect workshop skills
  • CMMS experience ideally SAP – PM Module
  • Experience of contractor control systems
  • Working with CI to deliver performance enhancements
