Workshop Labourers – 2 x Semi Skilled Sheet Metal Workers

Full Time Temporary to Permanent

Salary: £11.44 to £14.75 per hour depending on experience

We are looking for 2 x Workshop Labourers/Semi Skilled Sheet Metal Workers for a small family run growing business based in Rutherglen.

As a Workshop Labourer you must:

• Working in a similar industry would be advantage but not essential
• Previous sheet metal work would be an advantage but again not essential
• Physically fit due to heavy lifting nature of the job
• Good attention to detail
• Taking pride in work and willingness to learn
• Work well in a team
• Must be reliable and a good timekeeper
• Be prepared to work in a busy fast paced environment

Workshop Labourer responsibilities include:

• Cutting of sheet metal using various lasers and machinery that you will be fully trained in using
• Working within a small family run business
• Working to their health & safety requirements

The successful Workshop Labourer can expect:

• Hours are Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 4.30pm, Friday 7.30am to 3.30pm, 45 minutes break each day
• £11.44 to £14.75 per hour all hours on PAYE depending on experience
• 28 days paid holiday (including bank holiday, 1 to 2 weeks christmas holidays)

• Paid lunch once a month
• The client will put succesful candidates through an SQA in sheet metal once they have completed the revelant qualification period.
