Workshop Labourer/Industrial Cleaner

Our client based in Poole is looking for a Workshop Labourer/Industrial Cleaner

This is a full-time 39-hour week, Monday to Friday (early finish Friday). Hours may be flexible but will be discussed on interview.

The ideal candidate will have been working within a busy factory environment and be physically fit as there will be a lot of manual handling and use of pallet trucks to manoeuvre heavy material.

We are a large site so there will be a lot of walking between units.

Duties will include (but not limited to):

• Cleaning of Factory workshop to include floors, walls, surfaces, windows and staircases.
• Cleaning of workshop toilets
• Empty bins and bagging up rubbish and recycling, making sure it is disposed of correctly.
• Cleaning factory equipment and machinery, which will include swarf & oil spills
• Cleaning workshop floors which will require using industrial cleaning machine and mopping of hard floors
• Driving locally
• Other general workshop duties
• Assisting with machine maintenance when required

The successful candidate MUST ensure cleaning is carried out to a standard expected of the company following Health and Safety requirements at all times.

Candidates will have a full, clean driving licence and a fork lift licence or the ability to gain one.

We would like candidates to have a minimum of 3 years driving experience

Salary - £11.75 - £12.25 per hour.
