We are working with an established systems integrator who supply the Food/Bev markets across the UK. They are currently on the hunt for a dedicated and experienced Workshop Manager to supervise their control panel build team.

Workshop Manager - The Role:
⦁ Manage the day-to-day operations of the control panel build team
⦁ Supervise and update electrical drawings and documentations
⦁ Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe workshop
⦁ Oversee the build-up and testing of all cabinets in the office
⦁ Organise the transport of equipment and electrical panels to and from site
⦁ Responsible for monitoring and purchasing stock required for panel manufacturing
⦁ Take charge of Health & Safety in the workshop and on site
⦁ Handle project documentation, including RAMS and permits
⦁ Manage company resources effectively and appropriately
Workshop Manager - The Person:
⦁ Completed a 3-year apprenticeship (ONC, HNC is a plus)
⦁ A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in managing a workshop
⦁ Previous experience of maintaining workshop inventory and purchasing required
⦁ Experience working with different voltages (24V AC/DC; 240V AC; 415V AC)
⦁ Experience working to IEC standards is highly desired
⦁ The ability to read and understand Electrical & Mechanical drawings
⦁ CAD experience and knowledge in EPLAN (both are a plus)
⦁ Knowledge in conveyor and robot systems, and PLC and HMI programming (all are a plus)
