Workshop Repair Technician

Manpower has an exciting opportunity for a Workshop Repair Technician to join our Client at their site in Runcorn. Based on an initial 6-month fixed term contract you will work as part of an established team and be responsible for the service and repair of medical devices returned by customers.

This is a varied role and some of the day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Fault finding and diagnosis of system failures
• Equipment updates or modifications in line with customer requirements
• Keeping accurate and thorough documentation of faults found and the steps taken to rectify
• Logging and reporting design issues
• Provide superior customer care and support

Any applicants must have a qualification in electronics such as a HND, HNC, or City & Guilds. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in an electronics service environment, have the ability to fault find electronic instruments to a component level as well as the ability to understand customer issues and define resolution paths and communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
