SalaryASC is currently looking for an experienced administrator to join our Workspace Lettings team on a permanent full-time basis. The Workspace Lettings department works alongside four other key departments - Maintenance, Finance, Communications and Business Support - and oversees all non-financial matters related to the letting of workspaces for artists/designer-makers across our 9 London locations, supporting 650+ artists and makers in studios and up to 60 coworkers at https://www.handbagfactory.org/ - The Handbag Factory. They help maintain occupancy levels across all the charity's properties and are the first point for contact for our artists and makers.
The role of Workspace Lettings Administrator is a key role within the team, supporting the processing of new tenants, of vacating tenants, filing and organising Tenancy Agreements and related documents and general admin as needed. You may on occasion be asked to support other departments.
This is a largely front-facing role and therefore strong communication and people skills are vital. The ideal candidate will be warm, confident and professional when dealing with current and prospective tenants and the general public over the phone, by email and occasionally in person.
The successful candidate will be a confident administrator, with a minimum of 1 year's experience in a busy administrative role. They will be organised, diligent and detail oriented, able to handle financial and personal data professionally and with necessary care, and ideally familiar with legal documents.
They will have good time management skills in order to manage an often busy and varied workload and to ensure processes are completed accurately and on time. Someone who is flexible, proactive and adaptable would be ideal in this role, as a member of this small team.
